Malka Press was founded by Israeli-American artist Miriam Cabessa and her partner Noa Raveh. Cabessa is a painter known for embodied, physical methods, who has forged a new painting language named “female action painting.” For this contribution, she received the Israeli Ministry of Culture’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022.
In Her Wild Body, Raveh offers a new, rebellious mode of writing, an intimate, feminine mix of fire and tenderness. The book has been translated into English and Italian and has won eight prestigious international literary awards.
Malka Press’ vision is to bring more abundance into the world by transmitting a frequency of love, beauty, and inner freedom.
Cabessa and Raveh speak an abstract language of love that takes material form. Through Malka, this language finds shape and is offered to the world with audacious grace.

"Explodes in the readers' faces, in a good way"

"It's blunt, it's rebellious, it's prickly and predatory, it's uncompromising and it's "other" in the best sense, because how many contemporary local books are already kicking the system and shaking it up?"

Yaron Fried,

"The spirit lies on the physical"

"My most beautiful paintings were created when I felt so light, when I was almost pure spirit. I surfed above the surface of the painting."

Neta Halperin,

"A sexy and daring debut novel"

"Her Wild Body, Raveh's book, presents her relationship with Miriam Cabessa with a lot of charm and openness... You will find sexual texts there, a bold description of sex between two women, and honest and authentic writing that is free of vulgarity."

Orit Merlin Rosenzweig,
